Touring Teams from the U.K. and elsewhere are numerous. Both Tour Companies and Clubs organising their own tours always make sure that Miraflores is included in their itinerary. The 2007/08 season saw us entertaining some 46 groups, mostly from the UK.  For 2008/09 we are already seeing some firm bookings being made with 19 groups booked in for the Autumn.

Individually we have seen visitors from Australia, South Africa, America and Brazil as well as a number of Western European countries not normally strongly associated with bowls. We also find that we have a large number of Crown Green bowlers enjoying the opportunity to try their hand at the flat version of the game.

Our first touring group of 2008 were our old friends from Westerham who we entertained twice this year, both in a formal fixture and in a fun-day event where everybody mixed together to form 12 fun triples matches!

At the end of February we entertained long-standing visitors from Stoke Poges who play us twice during their visit with the second match being classified as a home match for them with Miraflores as the guests. as always we greatly enjoyed their company and look forward to welcoming them for many years to come.
